Refrigerator Evaporator

We have a LG side by side fridge (model no. LSC27926SW). Before I tell you what's wrong, I must tell you that my husband is a do it youself kinda guy -- no matter what it is. And he's goood!

The fridge has a hole in the evaporator tubing. All of the coolant leaked out. Can't use the fridge.

My husband can fix the tubing. Question is how do you recharge the system?

Hope you can help. Times are hard and we can't afford service or a new fridge right now.
