PVM1870DMCC GE Profile microwave

by Roger Remer
(Trenton, NJ)

We recently had some foil in the micro that touched the wave guide on the door and arched leaving the plastic door film inside scourched and melted about a half inch round. I saw where I could get a replacement door film PART PS228040, but I was wondering if I need a special glue to put it on with and also how easily the remainder of the old door film will come off? Or should I just try to find a small 1 inch piece somewhere and put that over the melted area as a "patch"? Thank you, Roger Remer

Door Film
by: Anonymous

I was just speaking to someone about the GE Profile door film at sears parts. They said the film came with an adhesive backing.
