LG French Doors & Bottom Freezer ~ 2004/5

by Mort
(Burke VA)

Thank to the person who listed that the easiest way to stop freezer compartment leaks is to let the unit unfreeze. I have taken it apart in the past - but this time I unplugged, emptied it and put a small fan on it. After I saw that the collection pan in the rear had filled with the water from the melted ice-blockage (a common problem) I reloaded and turned it on. Worked great and refrig is as clean as new!
