LG Bottom Freezer Fridge.. display settings on front

I just bought an LG Bottom Freezer Refrigerator, and the display on the front is digital. We can't get the temp to set... we hit the "refrigerator" button but the only thing that displays is "FF" -- no temp - and we can't get anyone at best buy to help us -- it doesn't seem to be getting cold either.. any ideas? Nothing in the manual covers it, and the troubleshooting pages have nothing showing what to do if "FF" appears... Frustrated in Howell, NJ
