Kenmore washing machine

Our Kenmore washing machine model washing machine seems to be having some issues it is just over 2 yrs. When you push the start button, it changes the tempature setting. If you push it again it changes the temp setting again. If you push and hold the start button it may start filling with water, but beeps, displays 'Err', and all the temp setting lights flash. I have no idea what to do?
