Kenmore Washer Quality Problem

by Arthur H Freeman
(Huntington,CT 06484)

We bought a Kenmore Washer, November, 2007 and it needed servicing by Sears, January, 2008.December, 2009 it sounds as if the transmission is ready to tear itself to pieces.I called Sears recently to explain our dilemma and noted that it was only 2 years old and that I expected better performance from a $500+ appliance and was amazed at her response.."Sears doesn't manufacture the appliance and that's what extended warranties are for"..I have been a customer of Sears Tires, both regular and Riding Mowers, Snow Blowers, Stationary Bikes, Batteries, and Major Appliances and other products for 50 years and find your response rude and commercially ignorant and will counter with that's what scissors are for."To cut up my Sears Card".
