Kenmore Stove model # 665 5842003

Gas Stove top will not light after power outage. You can hear the electric ignition working. Oven works fine. I assume there was a gas shut off safety precaution in the event of a power outage such as I experienced. How do I get the stove top working again. I have no manual with the appliance. Not sure of the third number in the model number but 5 is my best guess. It is printed over other stuff that obscures it. If it is a 5 then is might have been manufactured by Whirlpool. Thank you.
