Kenmore Refrigerator Model 51674

We just bought a new (to us) home and it came with the above mentioned refrigerator. It's a side by side fridge, and while the freezer section seems to be working just fine, I now notice that the refrigerator section does not seem to be very cold. I was wondering if anyone here can tell me what the problem is, and also, what can be done, short of calling in a repairman or replacing it with a new one.
