Kenmore Refrigerator Ice Maker Will NOT STOP making ice

All at once my ice maker would NOT STOP making ice and I am now seeing stalagtites forming on my freezer racks from water drips.

I think the Emmitter or Receiver Circuit Board needs replacing, but it's expensive and you cannot return electrical parts.

Does anyone know for sure this is my problem?

Is there a cheaper fix I can go with...like soildering a replace ment part on the board or something like that?
