kenmore refrigerator 970-600925.

I have a kenmore refrigerator 970-600925. Recently water condenses inside on the top of the fridge portion. Also, the adjustment knob for the freezer does not move. The cable appears to be frozen. It is currently set in the recommended position.
Any suggestion about fixing the problems?
