Kenmore Elite HE3T washer wont start. Door locked shut.

My Kenmore Elite HE3T washer will not start. The door is locked shut with clothes inside. Any wash cycle selection I press, the button flashes on and off. If I press the Start button it doesn't do anything. I have unplugged the unit and waited, then plugged it back in. Not sure what else to try
