Kenmore Electric Dryer Model # 11096281100

by Mark
(Greenwood, IN, USA)

My dryer has started shutting off. It starts fine and heats up. Within a couple minutes is shuts off. After is sets for a while, I am able to restart it again. I am sure that this is an overheating issue but I am not sure which part that I need to replace. There seems to be two thermostats and a thermal cutoff. There is also a thermal fuse which I assume would blow like any other fuse, so I have pretty much eliminated this as the problem. I don't know how to test the thermostats or cutoff to see if they are bad without buying each part. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
