Kenmore coldspot 1069530680-light out in the refrigerator

the light is out in the refrigerator. I replaced the bulb which was not working. Still no light. I have read where some have taken out a card and soldered copper wire to obvious burned connections. I haven't gone that route yet. What else can it be?
