Kenmore 70 Series Washer Not Spinning

My Kenmore 70 Series (Heavy Duty) washer goes through its cycle fine until it gets to the draining phase. At this point, it drains but does not spin. Because it agitates fine in the wash and rinse cycles, I am puzzled when it does not spin during draining.
