Kenmore 70 Series Electric Dryer

by Brittany O'Dea-Wilkinson
(Texas)

My Kenmore 70 Series (Electric Dryer) isn't working properly. My husband and I have never had this issue before with an appliance so I do not know how to go about finding the problem, much less a solution! Any advice would be highly appreciated!

The lint trap is cleared of lint, I remove lint after every cycle. The foil hoes (that looks like a slinky) for lack of a better analogy, is connected properly...

I don't know what would be causing the dryer to not only run forever instead of timed cycles, but to put out absolutely no heat. Very frustrating and we have many wet clothes! Time to go get the clothes pins!
