GE Washer Problem

I have a GE PSR3090woww and suddenly it stopped spinning under load.It spins fine without load.The motor and cluch and belt are fine and the pulleys can be turned freely by hand if the tub is empty but one it is half full with water it(PulleY) cannot be turned! I have taken the damn thing apart but cannot remove the impellor to take out the shaft and then open and check the transmission.! Please help as the wife is getting on my nerves.
