Frigidaire Ultraquite III Timer Problem

I have a frigidaire ultraquiteIII FDB750RCC0. the timer will advance to a certain position( 7 oclock) when the high temp wash button is on. if manually advanced it will then resume normal operation only to be repeated at the end of rinse cycle if high temp rinse is on. have tried new timer with no luck. a new thermostat did the trick the first time, but no luck this time. it heats to over 200 degrees. out of ideas.
