Freezer Freezing!

by Chris
(Charleston, SC)

My freezer (side by side) is leaking water somewhere in the back, which doesn't freeze until it hits the bottom and fills the depression under the basket.

Once full of ice, the water is able to run out in periodic spurts.

I've turned the water valve on my line off. No water comes from the dispenser on the door, nor is ice being made in the top of the freezer compartment.

Where is this water coming from?
How do I stop it?

THANKS!!

Kenmore Elite 596.722 / LG Inside Freeezer Leak
by: Anonymous

I have the same issue with the above machine. Must be condensation tube blockage or something if turning the water supply line does not help (previous thread). Anyone know if the inside back (freezer) panel will provide access to to see where the blockage is?
