Dryer Problem

by santiago hernandez
(jacksonville florida)

my whirlpool dryer won't start.i have checked all safety components that tha would keep it from doing so. i've checked the hi limit t.stat 250 degree , also the thermal cutoff non resettable 352 dgrees, the operating t.stat155 degrees, thermal fuse non resettable 196 degrees the pushstart switch and the door switch, the only part that didnt test ok was the thermal fuse 196 degrees.problem is even after replacing said fuse my machine stil will not run,the one thing i haven't tested is thebelt switch on the drive motor.
let me add that i'm a licensed electrician and know my way around testing electrical components, i'm just not an appliance repairman. your sugestions and advice will be appreciated.
