Door won't open on new Kenmore stove

Just wondering what I have to do to open the oven door on my new Kenmore stove. Model numbers from one paper H970 5928 970 5123 or 970 5124. It appears to be locked into a self-cleaning type mode but this is a basic model with no self-cleaning option.
