Defrost Timer for Kenmore (Frigidaire) 253.60802402

I can't FIND the darned thing to replace it! The fridge is not new and we only paid $50 for it, so I don't wanna spend $200 on it. I know the Defrost Timer is bad, and I'll try to replace it myself, but I can't FIND it! Where would it be located??? We pulled the back panel off the freezer, but it's not there. Not underneath, unless I don't know what I'm looking for. Can you help?
