Cycle control for washing machine

I have replaced the cycle control module behind the external control dial on several occasions. This has been done because the machine will stop working with some of the cycles. For example, it will stop working on "permanent press" cycle, then regular cycle, etc. After replacing the module it will work for a while on all cycles and then the problems will start once again. Problems usually start within three to four months after new module is put in.

What do you think I need to do?
