ASKO DISHWASHER TROUBLESHOOTING Troubleshooting is very basic and often you can solve problems quickly 1. Always check that the dishwasher electrical power is switched on. The washer power indicator light will show this. 2. The door is not closed correctly. If the washer door interlock switch is not activated properly then nothing will work. Open and close the door a few times to make sure it is operating 3. The washer start switch hasn’t been pressed or knob turned. 4. You have not selected your dryer program, its a common but easy mistake 5. The washer cycle timer or program electronic circuit board may be faulty. ASKO-DISHWASHER TROUBLESHOOTING - The machine does not wash properly 1. The water inlet line is clogged and the inline filter or screen if installed is clogged with sediment and this is common fault. This is a relatively common fault. 2. The water inlet solenoid valve is either faulty or the valve is not lifting properly. They can get a bit sticky. 3. The washer drain valve might be seized and is leaking or fouled with debris. Sometimes debris and even stockings or even flimsy underwear such as g-strings can get caught up 4 The water temperature is not rising to the correct temperature and this might be caused by a faulty thermostat or heating element failure. 5. The washing detergent dosing system is not functioning properly and may be clogged. 6. The washer cycle timer or the program electronic circuit board may be faulty ASKO-DISHWASHER TROUBLESHOOTING - The machine has no water supply 1. The water inlet line is possibly clogged but more likely the inline filter or screen if installed is clogged with sediment and stopping water passing through 2. The inlet water solenoid valve is defective or not lifting properly 3. The water level sensor or float switch is malfunctioning 4. The water overflow valve is jammed ASKO-DISHWASHER TROUBLESHOOTING - The machine will not drain down 1. The water drain pipe is clogged or blocked, this is usually at the bends in the piping. 2. The drain pump inlet or impeller is faulty or clogged. 3. The drain valve has seized or has failed. Open and check for debris inside 4. If the drain pump uses a drive belt this may have stretched or broken and simply isn't operating 5. The drive motor may have seized up or failed 6. The cycle timer or program circuit board may be faulty ASKO DISHWASHER TROUBLESHOOTING - The drying cycle is not working normally The thermostat or the heating element is defective. If the heating element has failed the circuit breaker will usually trip or fuse blow if short circuited. 2. The drying fan if installed may be faulty
